Summer Camps : Sports Camps : Water Sports : Lake Greeley Camp

Lake Greeley Camp is a residential camp nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania on 250 picturesque acres, including our very own 50 acre lake. We are a family owned and operated camp specializing in first time campers for more than 45 years.

Our modern cabins are home to 300 campers during the summer, approximately 150 boys and 150 girls, ranging in ages from 6 to 15. Also living in each cabin with the campers are at least two college age counselors, providing 24 hour supervision. Our facilities include a new 12,000 square foot gymnasium, amphitheater, two horseback riding rings, an Olympic size pool, a dance studio, photography darkroom, pottery & ceramics studio, softball field, baseball diamond, soccer field, three basketball courts, five tennis courts, roller hockey rink and woodworking shop. This year campers can also see something new towering 45 feet above the ground, a rock climbing wall and zipline.

Lake Greeley Camp offers a 100% elective program for campers entering the 5^th grade and up. Every day campers can design their own schedule and take part in only the activities they want. During the course of a single day we will offer professional instruction in over 60 different activities. Our activities include: Waterskiing, Paintball, Skateboarding, Trapeze, ATV –Quad Riding, Rockwall, Ropes Course, Zipline, Horseback Riding, Archery, Riflery, Mountain Biking, Gymnastics, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Roller Hockey, Weightlifting, Martial Arts, Golf, Arts & Crafts, Pottery & Ceramics, Woodworking, Theater, Photography, Video Production, Radio – DJ, Camp Newspaper, Guitar, Keyboards, Bungee Trampoline, Swim Instruction, Sailing, Windsurfing and Water Trampoline.

If all that weren’t enough, we also offer a number of trips and special activities for our campers to take advantage of. First, eight times during the summer we will be taking trips to see the AAA affiliate of the New York Yankees. Are you ready for some Arena Football? Then get ready to enjoy fast-paced action of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers. Twice during the summer the entire camp will pack up and go to Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom for the day. This summer our exciting Three Day Trip will be to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. On a daily basis we will be taking trips to nearby Promised Land State Park and Shohola Falls. There’s also whitewater rafting trips down the Delaware River and off camp mountain biking trips. If you would like to do some good old fashioned camping you can do that too with one of the many overnights we offer right on our campgrounds. You can also combine your love of horses and camping with one of our horseback overnights.

 On the 4^th of July get ready for the famous Lake Greeley Camp picnic, including giant inflatables and fireworks. Specialized clinics taking place during the summer include clinics by professional scuba divers and the Five Star Basketball Clinic. Campers can also participate in Inter Camp games against other camps in just about all of the sports that we offer. There are no tryouts, just sign up.

Lake Greeley Camp is accredited by the American Camping Association. Our priorities are to provide a safe, fun and exciting summer experience for our campers. It is our goal to provide a supportive, family atmosphere at Lake Greeley. We offer discounts of tuition rates for those who enroll early.
